The lands of Boyaca is famous for his the emerald mines, and the historic village of Chacaro is an descendent of the Green war. All the mines were purchased by US and Canadian factory. It was a deal between them and the government without the agreement of the people who were living in this zone.
By now it’s illegal to Guaquear it’s means people have a lot of problems if they are not working for the big factory. Stone is becoming more and more rare, but this population continues to survive thanks to its research.



Les terres de Boyaca sont célèbres pour ses mines d’émeraude. 

Le village historique de Chacaro hautement symbolique car descendant directe  de la guerre verte , est le reflet  de ce qu'est devenues le reste des mines qui n'ont pas été  achetées par des usines américaines et canadiennes. 

À présent,  "Guaquear"  est illégal, mais les  hommes et les femmes de ces communautés continuent d'exister grace à la recherche de la fameuse pierre.
